After eight brutal hours in the desert, surviving wind and sun and three radar traps, they arrived at their motel in Tucson. Kyna went directly to the room, threw off her clothes and jumped into the shower. She came out half an hour later in a pair of panties and a towel turban and stood in front of the air conditioner with her arms raised above her head. |
